Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica
The hotel is located in peaceful, rural surroundings. The setting is one of peace and tranquillity, with no loud noise from traffic. During the summer, you can watch the sun set here and enjoy the bright starry evenings. The Holmenkollen winter sports arena is a mere stone’s throw from the hotel. Art and culture are important elements of their history, and are reflected in their many pictures and decorations. Parts of the hotel date back to 1894, when Dr. I. C. Holm, the renowned Norwegian surgeon, built a sanatorium for his tuberculosis patients. This building was preserved, and is now part of the hotel.
