Trysil from across the river.
Trysil is not only a famous ski resort, but also a place lots of people go in summertime. At Trysil river you can spend your holiday rafting, canoeing, kayaking or drifting slowly on a timber raft. There are possibilities for renting these things at the local camping ground. If you don’t like sailing for several days, you can rent it for a few hours or all the day, and the people there will pick you up wherever you get to.
Trysilelva (Trysil River) is a part of Scandinavia’s largest watercourse. The river has the most grayling in Norway, with a considerable amount of trout as well.
